But how would you talk to them? And what would you talk about?
Most of the time, the barrier is that people assume other people don't want to be bothered. What if you could hold up a sign saying, "Come talk to me"?
Collide is that sign.
Open the app and see a map with real people and real plans nearby — someone sitting at a cafe, working out at the gym, or playing pickleball and open to having you join.
Tap any pin to see who posted it, what they're doing, and what they're interested in. Join with a tap. No back-and-forth, no ghosting. Just show up.
When you're ready to connect, tap the + button and let people know you're around.
Just mark yourself as open to meeting people — no agenda needed. Great for when you both just watched One Piece, played Slay the Spire, or have something else in common to talk about.
Have a specific idea? Post it and invite others to join. Maybe you have a Magic deck, a chess board, or just want to go for a run.
You set your location, when you'll be there, and for how long — anywhere from 30 minutes to a full afternoon. Your post disappears when the time is up, so there's no awkward lingering.
Before you show up, you can see who you're meeting and what they're interested in talking about.
Meet someone great? Add them as a friend, then make more friends and introduce them to each other!
Look at their availability to see when they'd be available to meet again.
If someone makes you uncomfortable, block them and they won't see you on the app. Romantic advances are a reportable offense.
We drift around aimlessly a lot - we should collide more!
